US Ironman Champion Chris Lieto Challenges Top Athletes and Fans to Unite To Improve the Lives of Children by doing ‘More Than Sport’.

immediate release:
Lieto Hosts ‘More Than Sport’ Breakfast Gala, October 10th, Royal Kona Resort, 9 a.m.

KONA, HAWAII (September 23, 2010) – Chris Lieto is the fastest American
Ironman and a true icon in the world of tri-athletes. Since entering the
sport in 1997, the California native has completed more than 80
triathlons, secured three Ironman wins, and with three top-10 finishes
at the Ironman World Championship under his belt, Lieto is favored to
take home the gold at this year’s October 9th Ford Ironman World

More than Sport: Although Chris Lieto has his eye on first place; he is
racing for more than himself. Through his More Than Sport campaign
powered by humanitarian organization, World Vision, Lieto challenges

lives of children in need around the world through child sponsorship.
Lieto’s ultimate goal is to find a World Vision child sponsor for each
